Located in Fira prefecture, Guinea Kimbo Bauxite was awarded two bauxite mining concessions for a total of 838 square kilometers in 2018, with proved reserves of 498 million tonnes and prospective reserves of 1.5 billion tonnes . Kimbo & Co . Port, constructed and operated by Shandong Port Group's Yantai Port, currently has two 8,000 ton barge berths . The port is now capable of shipping 15 million tonnes of ore annually.
