Jangada Mines granted trial mining licence for Pitombeiras Vanadium Project

London-based Jangada Mines PLC said it has been granted a trial mining licence by the Brazilian National Mining Agency for its fully-owned Pitombeiras project
"As we advance towards mineral resources expansion and updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), the granted (license) provides a fundamental section to our fast-track implementation path, " the company said.
"At this stage of development, the Pitombeiras PEA has focused on evaluating a direct shipping Ore (DSO)operation for the sale of a saleable magnetite concentrate, " it added.
. The licence allows 300,000 tonnes of ferrovanadium-bearing material to be extracted from Pitombeiras annually.
