Hebei Xiongtai's renewable resources recycling project starts construction

On March 20, the renewable resource recycling project of Hebei Xiongtai Renewable Resources Co., Ltd. officially started construction.
With a total investment of RMB365 million (USD56.1 million) and a planned area of 24.71 acres, the project will purchase two domestic leading-level 20-ton-per-hour lead storage battery automatic disassembly and sorting lines as well as low-temperature smelting system, regeneration smelting system, regenerative refined lead and alloy lead smelting system, waste electrolyte treatment and other main production equipment, environmental protection treatment and corresponding auxiliary equipment. After the project is put into operation at full capacity, it is expected to process 300,000 tons of waste lead storage battery and lead-bearing scrap annually, and recycle 190,000 tons of secondary lead per year.
