    National standard for recycled iron and steel raw material to take effect in 2021

    According to the news from China Iron and Steel Association on 17 December, the national standard for recycled iron and steel raw material was released recently and will come into effect on 1 January, 2021.

    The standard will tap recycled iron and steel raw material resources both in China and in the world to the maximum, improve recycling rate of iron and increase effective options of iron and steel enterprises, inhibiting use of iron ore and rise of prices to some extent.
