Sanzer New Materials starts SiC ceramic production base construction in Nantong

On November 17, the Sanzer New Materials' Precision Ceramics project with a total investment of RMB240 million (USD36.24 million) was started in Nantong Development Zone. It will build a world-class high-performance silicon carbide ceramic new material and energy-saving and environmental protection equipment production base.
This project is invested by Sanzer (Shanghai) New Materials Co., Ltd., which can produce 400t of high-performance carbide ceramic materials and 6,000 sets of heating and heat exchange energy-saving and environmental protection equipment per year, including silicon carbide ceramic high-temperature heating plates, silicon carbide ceramic molds for 3D glass, etc. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed and put into production in August 2021.
