Pingmei Longji's high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon cell project put into operation

On the morning of August 18, Xiangcheng County held the comprehensive production ceremony for Pingmei Longji's 4GW high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon cell project.
With a total investment of RMB4 billion (USD578 million), the project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project achieved production target in December 2017. With a total investment of RMB2 billion (USD289 million), the second phase of the project constructed 12 production lines of high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon cells and three test lines reserved for technology upgrading. At present, the whole project is fully put into production. In the future, through technology upgrading and the increase of production capacity, the overall scale of the first and second phase projects will reach 7GW, and the battery conversion efficiency will reach the world's top level.
