On April 18, Shandong Dongyue Organosilicon Materials Co., Ltd. started the construction of its organic silicon project with an annual production capacity of 300,000t.
The total investment of the project is RMB2.98 billion (USD421.09 million), and the construction period is 18 months. After the completion of the project, the total production capacity of Dongyue Organosilicon's organic silicon monomer will reach 600,000tpy, which will further improve the high-tech industrial chain of silicon-containing materials, and the production capacity of the company is expected to enter the top five in the world.
