MIIT: To accelerate development of rare earth new materials and high-end application industry

On 6 September, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the "implementation opinions on promoting product and service quality improvement of manufacturing industry", stating that it will speed up construction of rare earth functional materials innovation centers and industry testing and evaluation centers, support development of rare earth green mining and smelting separation technology and accelerate development of rare earth new materials and high-end application industry.
