Prices for section steel fluctuated frequently in major Chinese domestic market during the month, coupled with participants' wait-and-see attitudes. Besides, the market performance improved a little from that in March, though it was still far from satisfactory. Complaining higher production costs caused by rising prices of raw materials, producers were eager to raise prices, so were traders. In the meantime, prices for section steel kept going up and down in other Asian markets. Insiders foresee a slight price decline next month.
