Henan forbids constructing or expanding traditional projects of overcapacity

In terms of industrial enterprises, the plan mentioned that eight varieties of traditional projects of excessive capacities such as coal power projects, steel projects, primary aluminum projects, cement projects, glass projects, traditional coal chemical projects and coking projects will be prohibited from constructing or expanding.

In addition, Henan will boost a batch of heavy-pollution enterprises including cement, glass, coking and chemical enterprises to leave cities and issue plans related to rectification, shut down, transformation and relocation of steel mills and other heavy-pollution enterprises before the end of 2018. Above enterprise which can't execute the plans will be forced to halt production.
