Songhe's subsidiary finishes filing of waste battery disposal program

On 10 July, Songhe Recycling Resources announced that Xingtai Songhe Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., Songhe's wholly-owned subsidiary, has finished filing of its investment program at Xinhe County Government, representing the program will start construction officially.
The subsidiary invests RMB650 million in total in a waste battery and lead-bearing waste comprehensive utilization program with annual disposal volume of 300,000t.
Songhe Recycling Resources mainly recycles waste lead acid batteries and lead-bearing waste to produce secondary lead by smelting and further processes into alloy lead used for batteries.
