Section steel prices in prevailing markets showed a downward trend this month affected by lower raw material prices as well as the soft downstream demand. June is the traditional rainy season for China’s southern regions and there will be fewer construction projects next month due to the hot and rainy weather. Insiders believe that section steel prices will continue to go down during the month ahead.
