S.G. cast iron market saw downward trend on the whole this month with decline of RMB30-120/t. The market saw price decrease of RMB60/t to RMB2,870-2,920/t in Benxi, Liaoning, RMB80/t to RMB2,870-2,920/t in Wu’an Hebei, RMB120/t to RMB2,710-2,760/t in Yicheng, Shanxi, RMB70/t to RMB2,900-2,930/t in Jinan, Shandong, RMB80/t to RMB2,870-2,900/t in Zibo, RMB50/t to RMB2,900-2,920/t in Weihai and RMB30/t to RMB2,930-2,970/t in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, all on VAT included ex-works by cash payment basis. It was a typically busy season for casting industry with unimproved demand. Downstream casting market continued to be flat in February with sluggish demand. S.G. cast iron saw both weakness between supply and demand this month.
