A bismuth consumer, with a regular consumption of around 30tpm for bismuth ingot, told Asian Metal that they prepared some stocks of bismuth ingot at RMB93,000-94,000/t (USD6.91-6.98/lb) in early August and added some stocks at RMB106,000-107,000/t (USD7 . 87-7.95/lb) in mid-August. The source claimed that domestic bismuth ingot prices increased to RMB110,000/t (USD8.17/lb) in late August.
