Asian Metal visits Shanxi Regal Metal, Shanxi Zhenxin Magnesium
On the afternoon of 4 December, Consultant & Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal, Ms. Daphne Zhang visited Shanxi Regal Metal Material Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Wenxi Zhenxin Magnesium Co., Ltd., and was warmly greeted by above companies.
On the afternoon of 4 December, Ms. Daphne Zhang visited Shanxi Regal Metal New Material Co., Ltd. and discussed about information collecting and pricing of Asian Metal with General Manager, Mr. Guoqing Yan and Sales Director, Mr. Yanliang Meng from Regal. As a years-long partner of Asian Metal, Regal has been referring to market information and prices provided by Asian Metal for long. Mr. Guoqing Yan thought highly of objective, fair and timely market information provided by Asian Metal.
Located in Wenxi county, Shanxi province, Regal's plant has an annual production capacity of 70,000t of magnesium alloy and maintains an average monthly output of 4,500t for magnesium alloy at present; it also has a monthly output of 1,700t for magnesium ingot. With clients mainly coming from auto, 3C electronics and electric tool industries, and having domestic and overseas business accounting for 50% respectively of its total sales, Regal is the second largest magnesium alloy producer in China just after Yunhai Special Metals. Over the recent years Regal has been devoting itself into improving production and product quality as well as into expanding its footprint into the global market. So far it has set up sales departments in the U.S. and Europe, and also has a recycling plant in Europe.
Regal plans to participate in the 9th Magnesium Summit to be held by Asian Metal in Hangzhou on April 16-17, 2020. In addition, Mr. Yan will give a report in the Summit.
Later, Ms. Daphne Zhang visited Shanxi Wenxi Zhenxin Magnesium Co., Ltd., and exchanged idea about the supply-demand status on magnesium ingot and magnesium alloy in 2019 and also for market anticipation in 2020. With a regular monthly production volume of 4,000t, Zhenxin ran full production rate for the moment. In addition, their monthly output for magnesium ingot is about 1,300t. In recent years, by virtue of high-quality products and good reputation in the magnesium alloy market, Zhenxin won the recognition of customers in magnesium industry.
