Asian Metal visits Shandong Innovation Group Co.

On the morning of December 5, Mr. Friday Gao, Chief Consultant of Asian Metal visited Shandong Innovation Group Co. and had a meeting with Mr. Xingsheng Huang, Director of Operation Center, and Mr. Quan Cao, Deputy General Manager.

Mr. Huang introduced that they produce alumina, primary aluminum and downstream products. Meanwhile, their Group will start one aluminum project construction in Indonesia from 2026. Mr. Cao noted that their alumina refinery completely relies on imported bauxite and especially on Guinean bauxite.

Mr. Gao analyzed the bauxite supply growth in Guinea and the demand growth in China, sharing his opinion on the bauxite price movement in 2026.

Mr. Huang plans to attend the 16th Aluminum Raw Materials Summit to be held by Asian Metal in Haikou of China on May 28-29, 2026 and would like to strengthen market information cooperation.
