On the morning of December 26th, 2025, Ms. Daphne Zhang, the Consultant & Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal, visited Fugu Jinchuan Magnesium Co., Ltd. and held in-depth discussions with the General Manager, Mr. Guangyao Wang on the supply and demand status of metal magnesium in 2025, as well as the market demand and price trends for 2026. Established in 2003, Fugu Jinchuan Magnesium Co., Ltd. is located in Shiyaodian Village, Dingjiahuopan Industrial Park, Laogaochuan Town, Fugu County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, in the heart of the Shenfu Coalfield Development Zone, a national energy and heavy chemical industry base. Leveraging the abundant local coal resources, the company utilizes the residual gas from coal dry distillation furnaces as fuel for smelting metal magnesium. Adhering to a development model of scaling, refinement, diversification, and integration, it has built an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of magnesium ingots, 10,000 tons of magnesium alloys, 600,000 tons of semi-coke, and 60,000 tons of tar.
