Asian Metal visits Fugu Yabo

On the afternoon of 26 December, 2024, Ms. Daphne Zhang, the Consultant & Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal, visited Fugu Yabo Carbon Magnesium Electric Co., Ltd. and exchanged views with Mr. Sanfei Yuan, Executive Vice President, on the global supply pattern and domestic and foreign demand of the magnesium industry in 2024.

Fugu Yabo Carbon Magnesium Electric Co., Ltd. is located in Bandun Industrial Concentration Zone, Laogaochuan Town, Fugu County. The company has been approved by the nation's Development and Reform Commission to build a total scale of 980,000tpy of semi-coke production line, a raw coal washing equipment of 1.2 million ton per year, an activated carbon production line of 30,000tpy, a magnesium metal plant with production capacity of 20,000tpy, a production line of 370,000tpy of baking-free bricks. Besides, the company uses coke oven gas and ferrosilicon flue gas waste heat to build 2×15MW (air-cooled) self-provided thermal power units and 2×25,000kVA ferrosilicon electric furnaces.
