Asian Metal visits Fugu Jinchuan Hongtai Second Plant

On the afternoon of 26 December, 2024, Ms. Daphne Zhang, the Consultant & Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal, visited Fugu Jinchuan Hongtai Magnesium Alloy Second Plant in Fugu County, and discussed with the company's General Manager, Mr. Qiang Li, and the Sales Director Mr. Meng Li, on the supply changes and demand outlook of the magnesium market in 2025. Both sides believe that balancing the supply and demand of the magnesium market, promoting foreign demand and increasing the proportion of deep-processed cast and rolled materials of magnesium are the key points and trends of the development in the magnesium industry.

Fugu Jinchuan Hongtai Magnesium Alloy Second Plant was founded in April 2008 and put into production in 2009. It is located in Shiyaodian Village, Laogaochuan Town. It is a joint-stock enterprise that mainly produces magnesium metal, supplemented by machine-made semi-coke and coal tar with annual outputs of 20,000t, 250,000t, and 22,500t respectively. Its magnesium metal is exported to Japan, Germany, South Korea and other countries. The products are well received by new and old customers.
