Asian Metal visits Ganzhou Achteck Tool Technology, Chongyi Zhangyuan Tungsten, Jinlong Tungsten and Yaosheng Tungsten

Maggie Lee, tungsten market analyst of Asian Metal visited Ganzhou Achteck Tool Technology Co., Ltd., Chongyi Zhangyuan Tungsten Co., Ltd., Jinlong Tungsten Co., Ltd. and Yaosheng Tungsten Co., Ltd. during Jul 24-25th, and was welcomed by the four enterprises.

On the afternoon of Jul 24, Maggie visited Ganzhou Achteck Tool Technology Co., Ltd.and Chongyi Zhangyuan Tungsten Co., Ltd. In Achteck, Xiang Tang, manager of export department, claimed that the company has established a high performance hard facing material production line, imported patents from USA in 2008 with annual output of 500 tons of powder. The main products are WC- based and NiCr-Cr3C2 series thermal spraying powder and special powder used for corrugated roller, sink roll and water turbine, which are widely used in the petroleum, power generation, iron & steel, military and aerospace industries. The domestic sales volume of the thermal spraying powder of Achteck has ranked the first in continuously 3 years. In Chongyi Zhangyuan Tungsten, Xiangcai Wen, manager of export department, revealed that the capacity of APT, tungsten oxide and tungsten powder is 10,000tpy,8,000tpy and 5,000tpy respectively and the market remains soft this year. However, demand from end users remain relatively steady, so it is predicted that the actual production volume will be the same as that of last year.

On the morning of Jul 25, Maggie was invited to attend BOCE’s APT trading conference and communicated with insiders about the APT market in details. Yuming Cui, vice president of Yaosheng Tungsten Co., Ltd., noted that BOCE provides a new electronic trading way for APT.

On the afternoon of Jul 25, Asian Metal visited Jinlong Tungsten Co., Ltd. and Yaosheng Tungsten Co., Ltd. which is located in Chongyi, Jiangxi. Jinlong Tungsten is the APT plant of Yaosheng Tungsten Co.,Ltd. and it can produce 10,000tpy of APT and 6,000tpy of tungsten oxide. Faming He, sales manager of Yaosheng Tungsten Co.,Ltd., told Asian Metal that they are focusing on expand supply chain and improve their products. Last year, their cement carbide plant was put into production and it can produce 400tpy of cement carbide for clients from both home and abroad.
