Xining Metals and Minerals Import & Export (Group) visits Asian Metal

On 21st February, 2014, Mr. Feng Zhang, Vice General Manager of Xining Metals and Minerals Import & Export (Group) Co., Ltd. visited Asian Metal and discussed about the silicon metal and ferrosilicon markets with Susan Yin, senior analyst and Sera He, analyst of Asian Metal.

Mr. Zhang talked with Susan Yin about the recent silicon metal market trend. He noted that domestic silicon metal prices increased after the Spring Festival holiday. They are now working on the export orders signed before the holiday.

Asian Metal will hold the 2nd World Silicon Forum on 26-28th, May, 2014 in Xiamen, China. Mr. Zhang claimed that they will attend and sponsor it.

Mr. Zhang shared the ideas on ferrosilicon market will Sera He. He noted that the inventory of ferrosilicon in China is large now and it is hard to seal deals in the export market. No short-term improvements are expected.
