Asian Metal visits Shaanxi Qinling Molybdenum, JDC, Shannxi Head-Moly Industry and Shaanxi Lianshi Mining

During June 25-26th, David Li, the General Manager of Ferroalloy Department, and Flora Hou, the Analyst of molybdenum market from Asian Metal visited Shaanxi Qinling Molybdenum Co., Ltd, Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group, Shannxi Head-Moly Industry co., Ltd and Shaanxi Lianshi Mining Co., Ltd, and were welcomed by those companies.

On the afternoon of June 25th, Asian Metal visited Shaanxi Qinling Molybdenum Co., Ltd, and was given a warm reception by Mr. Dong Yancai, President of the company, and Mr. Lixinhui, Sales Manager of the company. Mr. Dong reported that the company mainly works on the production and sales of molybdenum concentrate, and noted that Chinese molybdenum production was oversupplied, which leads to no improvement for molybdenum market in the coming two years. Besides, Mr. Dong added that they would attend the 7th Ferroalloy Summit held in Sanya on October 21-23rd.

On the morning of June 26th, Asian Metal visited Jinduicheng Molybdenum Co., Ltd, the leading enterprise of molybdenum industry, was welcomed by Mr. Nick Cao, Vice General Manager of Market Corporation of JDC, Mr. Edward Wang, Manager of Metallurgical Raw Material Department and Mr. Liu Junmin, Market Director of JDC. During the visit, both sides had a friendly conversation. On the 7th Ferroalloy summit held by Asian Metal on 21-23rd, Mr. Cao and Mr. Liu would provide vigorous support and keep an eye on the development of the summit.

On the afternoon of June 26th, Asian Metal visited Shaanxi Head-Moly Co., Ltd located in Lantian Industry Park, and had a friendly conversation with Ms Chen Xiuyun, Vice General Manager of Sales Department. Ms Chen reported that they only produced molybdenum metal products, while the company planned to produce Vanadium products next year.

Later, Asian Metal visited Shaanxi Lianshi Mining Co., Ltd, and was given a warm reception by Mr. Wang Lin, Chief Engineer of the company. Mr. Wang noted that they only produced molybdenum concentrate, while they planned to work on other metals in order to avoid the market risk as molybdenum market kept depressed in the recent years.
