Asian Metal visits Dongguan CSG Solar Glass Co., Ltd. and Kingfa Sci & Tech Co., Ltd.

On 30th-31st August, 2012, Annabella Xu, antimony market analyst from minor metal department and Li Xin, manager of marketing department from Asian Metal visited Dongguan CSG Solar Glass Co., Ltd. and Kingfa Sci & Tech Co., Ltd., two large antimony trioxide consumers, and were warmly welcomed.

On the afternoon of 30th August, Annabella Xu and Li Xin went to Dongguan CSG Solar Glass Co., Ltd. which is located in Machong County, Dongguan City, and were welcomed by Mr. Wang Shusheng, Assistant General Manager and Mr. Wu Guangsheng, manager of Procurement and Logistic Department. Mr. Wu introduced operating condition of the company, and commented on the current antimony market. Mr. Wang revealed that their monthly consumption of antimony trioxide has not significantly decreased as the output of glass has increased from 500tpd to 650tpd. However, the overall consumption of antimony trioxide from the glass industry has decreased by about 20% due to sluggish economy over the past year.

Dongguan CSG Solar Glass Co., Ltd, a subsidiary company of CSG Holding, was established in October, 2005, located in Machong County, Dongguan City. The company now holds a production line for solar energy photovoltaic ultra white rolled glass with a daily capacity of 1,150t, and a matched line for toughened further processing with an annual capacity of 3,400 m2, providing about 400MW per month of modules glass. On the morning of 31st, August, Annabella Xu and Li Xin went to the new office of Kingfa Sci & Tech Co., Ltd., which is in Science City of Guangzhou, and were welcomed by Mr. Xiong Wei, Assistant Minister of the Purchasing Department, Mr. Wang Hongping, manager of Purchasing Department, and Mr. Zhou Xiaofeng, Information Engineer. Mr. Xiong gave an overall analysis on current domestic and international economy and its impacts on antimony trioxide market demand. Mr. Xiong also shared with Annabella Xu his opinion on future trend of antimony market.
