Asian Metal attends customer association and anniversary celebration ceremony of Chinalco Guangxi Non-ferrous Rare Earth Exploration Company
On July 19, 2012, Vivian Pang, rare earth market analyst of Asian Metal, was invited to attend the customer association and anniversary celebration ceremony held by Chinalco Guangxi Non-ferrous Rare Earth Exploration Co., Ltd .
Founded in July, 2011 and located at the “Green City” Nanning, Chinalco Guangxi Non-ferrous Rare Earth Exploration Company is a joint venture formed by Chinalco Co., Ltd, Guangxi Non-ferrous Metal Group and Grirem Advanced Materials Co., Ltd with a registered capital of RMB500 million. It is a state-owned and exclusively-invested enterprise, focusing on rare earth mineral resources exploring, mining and smelting separation, deep processing and scientific researching and trading. It acts as the first platform to integrate rare earth resources and to develop the industry in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
More than 80 officials from relevant departments and customer representatives attended the ceremony, including Ren Xudong, member of the leading Party group and Vice General Manager in Chinalco, Ding Haiyang, Vice President of Chinalco and President of China Rare Earth Metals, Wanghong, Vice President of China Rare Metals and Rare Earth Company, as well as leaders from relevant shareholder companies, from the Development and Reform Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and from SASAC.
The conference began at 15:30 on July 19 with an anniversary working report by Chen Yuncai, Chairman of Chinalco Guangxi Non-ferrous Rare Earth Exploration Company. Then Ding Haiyan, Vice President of Chinalco and President of China Rare Earth stated in shareholder speech that Chinalco will unswervingly implement the State Council’s policy on rare earth industry and consistently integrate rare earth markets in Guangxi. After that, local Party committee and heads of local government gave a speech. They sent congratulations to the anniversary of Guangxi Non-ferrous Rare Earth Exploration Company and stated that local government will support the development of the company as always and the company leadership should enhance communication and work together to advance construction of industrial park. At last, customer representative Fang Zhiqiang, General Manager of Zhongshang Guoqi (Beijing) Technology and Science Development Company, showed the willingness to improve cooperation with the company to strive for common development.
After the conference, Vivian Pang, rare earth market analyst of Asian Metal exchanged views with conference participants on market situations. HuangWeize, Manager of trading department of Chinalco Guangxi Non-ferrous Rare Earth Development Company advocated suppliers to react actively and fight against difficulties together by helping each other facing the current quiet rare earth market with sluggish transactions.
