CERBERUS MINING | WANSA GROUP COMMODITIES
Brief Introduction
Cerberus Mining and Wansa Group Commodities together form a fully integrated, mine-to-market platform with over 55 years of combined experience in commodities trading and resource development. The Group operates across four primary business lines — metals & mining, oil, gas & energy, soft commodities, and renewables — from offices in London, Wyoming, West Africa and China. Its business covers four continents, with over 700 employees worldwide and an annual bauxite export volume of 8–10 million tons.
BEL AIR BAUXITE MINE, GUINEA
Just 26km from mine to port — among the shortest in Guinea. A structural location advantage that delivers strongly competitive landed costs, underpinned by sustained investment and operational improvement. Critically, cost reduction was achieved simultaneously with a tripling of production volume. The operation now produces and exports 8–10 million tonnes of DSO bauxite per annum to major international buyers, principally in China, via dedicated port and transshipment infrastructure. The mine benefits from established export infrastructure including barge-loading terminals and Cape-size transshipment. Cerberus, in cooperation with CRCC, is currently developing a new ore washing and crushing plant and a new jetty to increase both product quality and export capacity.
